Cincinnati Inc. (CI) introduced CLi, a high-quality fiber laser with a compact footprint and a compact price.

The machine can ensure that users no longer need to rely on contract manufacturing partners and mysterious delivery times when they need to complete laser cutting. The lowercase i in CLi stands for "introductory", which means it is an ideal starting laser and has all the functions required by a store that wants to make parts instead of outsourcing.

"If cost-effectiveness is the goal, the previous recommendation was that you should choose the CO2 laser you used," said Troy Wilson, CNC Workbench Product Product Manager. "But with CLi, you can get a new fiber laser for the price of used CO2. The capabilities and reliability are much higher."

Due to its HMI control and Windows-based dual-screen interface, CLi is user-friendly and easy to operate. The 5 ft x 5 ft table is packed into an economical 10 ft x 11 ft footprint, which means it can be installed almost anywhere in the workshop.

"CLi allows OEMs who don't need a lot of sheet metal to control their own destiny," Wilson said. "You have your own 5 feet x 5 feet and you can make parts when you need them, so you don't have to wait weeks or months for the same parts."
